Andrea V Hill MD, MBA, FAAP
Dr. Andrea Hill is a board certified pediatrician and ringside physician. In 2016, she lost her husband, Tim, a former pro MMA and Muay Thai fighter to suicide. Prior to his death, she worked as a ringside doctor occasionally – just for fun. However, since 2016, she has devoted much of her free time to education and improving her skills as a ringside physician. She is certified by USA Boxing and by the Association of Ringside Physicians as a ringside doctor. She has worked countless amateur USA boxing events, including Golden Gloves, as well as fights with the IKF, the ISKA, and the UFC. She continues to work towards improving safety in combat sports in a way that preserves these sports for future generations.
She has two daughters, twenty years apart in age. Both train in combat sports and are beasts…….( well…. ok the little one isn’t a beast yet but she will be. ) So, she is passionate about improving safety, not just for others but for her own daughters, while still passing her love of these sports on to her children.
